MESSAGE FROM THE MBARARA CAMPUS LIBRARIAN

Dear students and staff (Academic & Administrative), as your dedicated librarian, I am pleased to welcome you to our campus library.
MUBS-Mbarara campus was established in 2006 by the MUBS Council, with the aim of extending Business & Management education to the people from the western region.
The Library operates on both Week days from: 8: 00 am- 9:00 pm; and Weekend 9:00am -3:00pmOur vision and aim is to have a world class library equipped with ICT equipment that offers users flexibility in accessing information and to provide users with information materials that support their curricular and research needs at all levels of business education Whether you are here to study, conduct research, or explore new ideas, our library is a place where
knowledge, curiosity, and creativity come together.

MUBS-Mbarara campus library collection consists of a wide range of digital and physical resources. Our print books and periodicals are in subjects such as; economics, business, marketing and management, human resources, accounting and finance, statistics among others.

The library’s collection, also has theses, dissertations and research papers from faculty members and students.

The Library’s electronic resources comprise of databases, eBooks, journals, journal articles, book chapters, thesis and dissertations and much more provided by the University Library are accessible online on MY LOFT. These resources can be accessed while on campus and off- campus by registering with university library in our remote access systems called MYLOFT

The campus library has two dedicated librarians who are ready to serve, give you the tools, assistance, and resources you require in order to fulfill your academic and professional ambitions.
